Le Bouillon Pigalle offers fourteen starters, twelve main course, three cheese courses and ten desserts. They have dishes in traditional French bistrot style, like whelks with mayo and sorrel, snails in parsley butter, marrowbone and tamara. Salt cod purée, steak tartare with chips, ‘pot- au- feu’ beef stew, veal in white sauce, beef bourguignon and pasta shells and veal head in gribiche sauce are just some of the dishes served there and which costs less than eleven euros. To go with these dishes, le Bouillon Pigalle offers a pitcher of house wine, which is available in quarter-, half- or full bottles or litres. You can choose between a red Côtes-du-Rhône, a white Côtes-du-Gascogne or a rosé. On the dessert menu, you will find profiteroles or chocolate mousse, a rum baba and rice pudding with salted caramel.
Le Bouillon Pigalle is open from midday to midnight. It has 300 covers where foreign tourists mix with French diners. The establishment does not take bookings. You may have to queue for a few minutes for a table. It is literally first come first served, and then diners leave their table for others when they have finished their reasonably priced and delicious meal.
